to refine the proposal writing process. It is user friendly and is directed to increasing the completion of successful proposals and to their implementation and evaluation. Teachers identify needs in their classrooms and devise creative ways to address these needs outside of the districts normal funding process.
The Foundation relies on district educators to follow the grants process and for campus principals, technology support and curriculum recommendations to make certain that proposals are appropriate and aligned with district goals. Once the proposals have passed through this process, individual information is eliminated from them so that when read by 15 to 20 committee members, the scoring is based solely on the merits of the proposals.
All campuses are eligible for grants
consideration and successful grants can be re-funded or expanded as needed.
