Kayla Bartsch Voigt
Secretary,
Executive Committee
I was born and raised in Bastrop and attended Bastrop ISD schools for the entirety of my K-12 education. Being able to give back to the schools and teachers that gave so much to me throughout the years is one of the reasons I joined the Bastrop Education Foundation. I want to ensure that my future children, as well as the children in our community, receive the best education possible.
Upon graduating from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree, I began my career at Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, where I am a senior staff accountant. I currently serve on the Steering Committee for Texas Electric Cooperatives, which represents the interests of 76 electric cooperatives throughout the state. I am also an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne.
My favorite place to be is downtown Bastrop. The streets are lined with amazing restaurants, lovely shops, and so much history. No matter what you’re in the mood for, downtown Bastrop has it all!
