As a proud alumnus of the Bastrop school district and a current parent of a student in the district, I have a deep appreciation for the impact that quality public education has on our community. I joined the Bastrop Education Foundation board to help raise funds that directly support our dedicated public school teachers.
I am passionate about ensuring they have the resources they need to create engaging and enriching classroom experiences for their students. By supplementing classroom funding, I hope to contribute to an environment where every child has the tools to thrive academically and beyond.
I am currently an Applications Administrator in Digital Services at the Lower Colorado River Authority. I have been at LCRA for most of my career. I spent 4 years working at Bastrop Independent School District at the Elementary School level. Helping to raise money for schools to better educate children is a very important role to me.
